Rotate video

Fix a sideways or upside down video in seconds, without re-encoding and without uploading it anywhere.

Drop a video, or choose a file

MP4, MOV, WebM, or MKV. Any size.

Your file never leaves your device

Instant, no quality loss

Okaysize rotates the video by updating its orientation, the same way phones mark portrait videos, and copies the picture as it is. It takes seconds at any length.

Mirror, too

Turn on Mirror to flip the video horizontally, handy for selfie videos where text appears backwards.

How to rotate a video

  1. Add your video. Drag the video onto the box, or click Choose a file.
  2. Choose the turn. Under Rotate, pick 90° right, 180° or 90° left.
  3. Mirror if needed. Turn on Mirror (flip horizontally) for selfie videos where text looks backwards.
  4. Click Rotate video. Then click Download to save it.

Questions

Why is my video sideways?
Phones record in one orientation and store which way to show it. Some apps and sites ignore that note and show the video sideways. Rotating fixes it for good.
Will the rotated video work everywhere?
The result is an MP4 that modern players show the right way up. Very old players that ignore orientation may need the video converted after.
Is my video uploaded?
No. It's processed on your device.
