Pick the right format
MP3 plays everywhere. M4A (AAC) sounds a little better at the same size. OGG (Opus) is the most efficient for voice. WAV and FLAC keep full quality; FLAC is about half the size of WAV.
Questions
- What bitrate should I use?
- 128 kbps is fine for voice and casual listening. 192 to 256 kbps sounds close to the original for music. Okaysize never lowers audio below what you choose.
- Can I trim the audio?
- Yes. Set a start and end time in Advanced before converting.
