Steps
Add your audio or video
Drag an MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, or FLAC file, or a video, onto the box. Or click Choose a file.
Choose the format
Under Convert to, pick MP3, M4A, OGG, WAV, or FLAC.
Set the quality
For MP3, M4A, and OGG, use the Bitrate slider. 192 kbps is a good default; 320 kbps for the best quality.
Trim if needed
Type Start (seconds) and End (seconds) to keep only part of it.
Click Convert
Then click Download to save the audio file.
The options, explained
- MP3
- Plays everywhere. The safe choice.
- M4A
- Smaller than MP3 at the same quality. Great on Apple devices.
- WAV and FLAC
- Full quality, much larger. FLAC is lossless but compressed.
Tips
- Converting an MP3 to WAV won't restore lost quality. It only makes the file bigger.
- To extract a song or voice note from a video, add the video and pick MP3.
