Steps
Add your video
Drag the video onto the box, or click Choose a file.
Type the start and end
In Start (seconds), type where the clip should begin. In End (seconds), type where it should stop. 90 means one and a half minutes in.
Click Trim video
The clip is cut on your device.
Download the result
Click Download to save the shorter clip. The original file is left exactly as it was.
Tips
- Play the original in your video app to find the exact seconds first.
- Need it smaller too? Compress video also has Start and End, so you can do both at once.
Questions
- Does trimming lower the quality?
- Usually not. The video is copied as it is whenever possible, so it looks the same as the original.
- Can I cut out a part in the middle?
- Trim keeps one continuous part. Trim twice to save the pieces either side.
