Video to GIF
Turn a video clip into a sharp, looping GIF. No upload, no watermark.
Drop a video, or choose a file
MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV. Short clips work best.
Your file never leaves your device
Better colors than most converters
GIFs can only use 256 colors. Okaysize samples the whole clip first and builds one palette that fits it, so skin tones and gradients band less than a frame by frame palette.
Keep GIFs small
GIF is an old format and files grow fast. A short clip, a width around 480 pixels and 10 to 15 frames per second usually give the best balance. Set a target size and Okaysize lowers the frame rate and width until it fits.

Questions
- How long can the GIF be?
- As long as your device's memory allows. GIFs over 10 seconds get large quickly, so trimming to the moment that matters gives the best result.
- Is there a watermark?
- Never, on any plan.
- Should I use a GIF or a video?
- Most apps now play short MP4s like GIFs and they are far smaller. Use a GIF when a site or chat only accepts GIF.
