Translate a PDF
Translate a whole PDF into another language, keeping its headings and paragraphs. The translation happens on your device.
Drop a PDF, or choose a file
PDF files of any size.
Your file never leaves your device
Private translation
Online translators upload your document. Okaysize uses the translation model built into Chrome, which runs on your computer, so contracts and medical letters never leave it. Each language pair downloads once the first time.
Structure kept
Headings stay headings, paragraphs stay paragraphs, and each page of the original starts a new page in the translation. Table cells are translated one by one so columns stay lined up.
PDF or Word
Choose PDF to read it, or Word to edit the translation. Languages written in scripts the PDF fonts don't cover, such as Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, or Hindi, are saved as Word documents so every character shows.

Questions
Which browsers can translate?
Chrome 138 or newer on Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS. Other browsers don't have the built in translator yet.
Does it keep the original layout?
It keeps the structure (headings, paragraphs, page breaks), not the exact positions, so the text can grow or shrink as languages do.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Translation happens on your device.
