The options, explained
- Quality
- Auto quality picks the best balance. Choose quality lets you set it from 30 to 95.
- Lossless PNG
- Keeps every color exactly, for logos and screenshots. Larger files.
Tips
- Photos compress best as JPG, WebP, or AVIF. Screenshots and logos as PNG.
- Location data is removed from photos when compressed.
Questions
- Will people notice the compression?
- With Auto quality, almost never. The settings are chosen so the difference isn't visible at normal size.

- Add the HEIC photo with Output format on Auto, and it comes out as a JPG.
