How to convert a PDF to WebP

WebP keeps pages looking good at a smaller file size, so it's the best choice for putting PDF pages on a website.

  • About 1 minute
  • Free, nothing uploaded
  • 4 steps

Steps

  1. Add your PDF

Drag your PDF onto the box, or click Choose a file. It opens right in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

  2. Choose the image quality

Under Image quality, pick Screen for web pages, Standard for most uses, or Print for sharp, large images.

  3. Click Convert to WebP

Each page is rendered on your device.

  4. Download the images

A one page PDF gives a single WebP. Longer PDFs download as one ZIP with an image per page.

Tips

  • Some older apps and upload forms don't accept WebP. Use PDF to JPG for those.
  • For perfectly sharp text and diagrams, PDF to PNG is better.
