  • Why files fail on SSC

SSC rejects blurred or miniature signatures, and the file must be between 10 and 20 KB. A small signature JPG is often under 10 KB.

  • What this preset does

This preset fits your whole signature into a 6 × 2 cm shape (236 × 79 px at 100 DPI) on white, then lands the JPG between 10 and 20 KB, adding harmless padding data if the picture alone is under 10 KB.

Questions

What is the SSC signature size?

JPG between 10 and 20 KB, with the image about 6.0 cm wide and 2.0 cm high, according to the SSC notice.

Do I need to upload a photo for SSC?

No. SSC's application captures your photo live with your camera. Don't photograph an old photo: those applications are rejected.

Which SSC exams does this cover?

The signature rule is the same across SSC's 2026 notices (CGL, CHSL, MTS, GD, Stenographer, and more). Check your exam's notice in case it changes.
