How to convert an Excel spreadsheet to PDF
Send a spreadsheet as a PDF when people only need to read it. Here's how, without opening Excel.
- About 1 minute
- Free, nothing uploaded
- 4 steps
Steps
Add your spreadsheet
Drag your spreadsheet onto the box, or click Choose a file. It opens right in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Click Convert to PDF
Each visible sheet becomes pages, with numbers and dates shown the way Excel shows them. Wide sheets turn landscape and continue onto more pages if needed.
Check the preview
The first page shows under the result, with the number of sheets and pages.
Download the result
Click Download to save the PDF. The original file is left exactly as it was.
Tips
- Hide the columns and sheets you don't want before converting: hidden ones are left out.
- Very wide sheets read best if you set narrower column widths in Excel first.
Questions
