Remove a password from a PDF

Remove the password from a PDF you're allowed to open, so it opens without asking. Also lifts print and copy limits.

Drop a PDF, or choose a file

PDF files of any size.

Your file never leaves your device

You need the password

Unlock PDF takes off a password you already know. It doesn't crack or guess passwords. Type it once and save a copy that opens without it.

Restrictions too

Some PDFs open freely but block printing or copying. Leave the password empty and Okaysize removes those limits.

How to unlock a PDF

  3. Click Unlock PDF. A copy without the password is made on your device.
  4. Download the result. Click Download to save the unlocked PDF. The original file is left exactly as it was.
