- Free, nothing uploaded
- 5 steps
Steps
Add your PDF form
Drag your PDF form onto the box, or click Choose a file. It opens right in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Fill in the fields
Every field is highlighted on the page. Click one to type, tick check boxes, pick from dropdowns, and press Tab to move to the next field.
Sign if the form asks for it
Click Sign here in a signature box, then draw, type, or upload your signature.
Click Save filled PDF
Your answers are written into the form and drawn into each field, so they show in other PDF readers and when you print.
Download the result
Click Download to save the filled in PDF. The original file is left exactly as it was.
The options, explained
- Flatten after filling
- Makes the answers part of the page, so nobody can change them. Leave it off to keep the form fillable.
Tips
- Keep a copy of the empty form in case you need to start over.
- If no fields are highlighted, the PDF isn't a fillable form. Use Edit PDF to type on it instead.
Questions
Will my answers show in other PDF readers?
Yes. Each answer is stored in the form and drawn into its field, which is what readers and printers show.
Can I change an answer later?
Yes, as long as you didn't flatten it. Open the saved PDF here or in any PDF reader and change the field.
